Tax came up as an issue that concerns insurance leaders, though for different reasons, at the World Insurance Forum.

Ted Kelly, CEO of Liberty Mutual, said the industry is in danger of getting caught up in a regulatory backlash from US legislators in Congress.

“I am spending more time than I ever thought I would in Washington,” said Kelly. “We have to be very careful in this era. There will be a lot of sideswipe damage to this industry. AIG has become a poster child.”
