Ex-AIG chief Sullivan joins Willis

Willis Group has announced the appointment of Martin Sullivan, the former CEO of AIG as deputy chairman of Willis Group Holdings and chairman and CEO of a new business unit, Willis Global Solutions.

Willis Group has announced the appointment of Martin Sullivan, the former CEO of American International Group (AIG) as deputy chairman of Willis Group Holdings and chairman and CEO of a new business unit, Willis Global Solutions. The new unit will oversee brokerage and risk management advisory services for Willis’s multinational and global accounts.

Sullivan will be based in New York City.

As deputy chairman, Sullivan will report to Joe Plumeri, chairman and CEO of Willis Group Holdings, and assist in managing and shaping the long term growth strategy for the company. He...
